Gnocchi with Tomato Sauce and Feta Cheese

Ingredients for Gnocchi with Tomato Sauce and Feta Cheese:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • ½ tsp. black pepper

Gnocchi Ingredients

Preparation:

  1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic cloves.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the onion until soft.
  3. Stir in the garlic and and chopped tomatoes.
  4. Simmer for 4-5 minutes and stir occasionally.
  5. Boil the gnocchi according to the instructions on the pack (usually 2-3 minutes).
  6. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes.
  7. Stir the cheese and spices into the tomato sauce.
  8. Pour the tomato sauce into deep serving spaghetti plates.
  9. Drain the gnocchi and place them onto the sauce. Sprinkle with basil and black pepper.
