Ingredients for Gnocchi with Tomato Sauce and Feta Cheese:
- 500 g gnocchi
- 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
- 200 g feta cheese
- 20 ml olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. basil
- ½ tsp. black pepper
Preparation:
- Peel and chop the onion and garlic cloves.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the onion until soft.
- Stir in the garlic and and chopped tomatoes.
- Simmer for 4-5 minutes and stir occasionally.
- Boil the gnocchi according to the instructions on the pack (usually 2-3 minutes).
- Cut the feta cheese into small cubes.
- Stir the cheese and spices into the tomato sauce.
- Pour the tomato sauce into deep serving spaghetti plates.
- Drain the gnocchi and place them onto the sauce. Sprinkle with basil and black pepper.
