It’s Friday evening and instead of being out with friends, having fun and a few drinks, I’m home alone trying to work out how to increase the traffic to my website and how to make money blogging. Maybe it sounds a bit weird and maybe Friday night is not the best time for blogging? Or maybe ANY time is the right time if you’re really passionate about something and you better start doing it when you feel like it instead of procrastinating all the time?

So let me tell you what happened to me and what inspired me to write this post. Two days ago I saw an ad on Facebook suggesting to sign up for a free webinar on how to use Pinterest to dramatically grow my traffic and email list. The webinar was the same evening and I’ve been looking into SEO and blogging tips for the past few weeks so I was thinking “that’s a great opportunity to learn something useful and it’s free!”. So I signed up, and there I was, with a notebook and a glass of wine in front of my computer, taking notes and listening with interest. The webinar was held by Melyssa Griffin, a name that I haven’t had heard until then but a name that I hope to change my life completely. How come I have never heard about her before, I don’t know (or maybe there are thousands of reasons why) but of course, it turned out that she is quite famous in the blogoverse and she gives business owners and entrepreneurs very useful and powerful tips on how to improve their business, digital marketing, social media marketing, email lists and so many other things.

In the end of the webinar she was talking about her product, or rather course, called Pinfinite Growth – an e-course teaching you how to increase your website traffic and email list with the help of a secret weapon – Pinterest. It sounded really good but I wasn’t ready for a commitment so quickly (the only reason why I wasn’t, was the parting-with-money bit).

Did I mention it sounded really good? So here I am, 48 hours later researching what people are saying about the course Pinfinite Growth, and all of the posts I read were (not)surprisingly very good so I decided to try it myself. And this is it, my very first day of my experiment of implementing the strategies I am going to learn during that course so you can be a witness to, hopefully, my success.

I read so many articles about people that have increased their traffic and their email lists within months or weeks after starting to use those strategies, that I decided to write something like a diary showing the results on a daily basis. And that’s exactly what’s been missing so far – we know what they have achieved but we don’t know how. So as a newbie-blogger I decided to share everything with you – every change, every mistake, every struggle, every success. This can be a real-time example showing if all these tips actually work and what impact do they have. And hopefully, all these baby steps that I take will help you grow your website traffic too!

So, as I mentioned, it’s Friday evening and it’s almost midnight so I’m going to chill out for a bit and go to bed but tomorrow, tomorrow is a new day!
