Ingredients for the dough base:
- 250 g plain flour
- 100 g butter
- 75 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp baking powder
Ingredients for the topping:
- 600 g apples
- 50 g sugar
- 1 slice of lemon
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla and egg in a bowl.
- Melt the butter, add it in the flour mixture and mix well.
- Grease a baking tin and pour in the dough. Spread it evenly, slightly pressing with your fingers.
- Wash, peel and cut the apples into thin slices.
- Put them in a bowl and add the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice on top.
- Mix well and pour over the dough.
